Listeria Outbreak
Too bad no one was listening the writing is on the wall.
When will people listen?
Government is not about protecting people it is about protecting their own self interests.
Sad to see the loss of human life specially when it can be prevented.

Questions for Discussion
The answers to these questions will help us move forward with a plan that
delivers more opportunities for success and a decent standard of living to all
1. Given that our first priority is children and their families, how can we do a better job
with existing resources to improve opportunities for children living in poverty?
2. What new ideas could we incorporate into our existing supports that would increase
opportunities for children living in poverty?
3. We know that communities are best positioned to understand and respond to
the local realities of poverty and opportunity. What is already working in your
community to support children, youth and their families living in poverty to
achieve their potential?
4. We know that to be successful we must all work together. How can we better
integrate the roles that we all play — individuals, not-for-profits, the private sector,
volunteers and all levels of government — in increasing opportunity for Ontarians
living in poverty?
5. We are focusing on children first, but we will develop a comprehensive, long-term
poverty reduction strategy for all people living in poverty. What are the key long-term
goals for improving opportunity with respect to groups other than children?
6. We need to be able to measure our progress on poverty reduction. What measures
do you think will best show our progress in improving opportunity for Ontarians living
in poverty?

Today`s Entry
Well today was grey, cold and overcast and that suited me and my mood just fine.
The only thing lacking was the thunder clouds but oh well can`t have everything.
See the thoughts are wired differently concerning many things and so many people will have ears but hear not eyes but see not if you catch my drift.
So we will have food shortages if you follow the trends and floods and crop failures and it`s not hard to figure it all out.
Just a little bit of history repeating the cycle and it can`t be stopped but how one goes through it can make provisions to protect themselves and family.
CIVIL SOCIETY AND RULE OF LAW WILL BREAKDOWN
A house divided will collapse and than who will be the next world power?
Must refrain from ranting and stick with just writing about the events of the day.
Went shopping last night and just did the the math how many local people think about what they are buying and the price such clever marketing. The switch to metric was rather devious the price for 6 hotdogs is 3 dollars.
A pound of bacon 3.00 and a 1/2 pound of cream cheese is 4 bucks...now if you happen to be unlucky and live in the urban areas and prices go up you will go hungry.Clever way to reduce poverty by reducing the people
Well enough for now perhaps more will be posted later
